Welcome Address During the Cultural Gala Night

Good evening everyone! First of all, I would like to acknowledge the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Jaime Victor Ledda, and also the presence of the director of the L A M C of the ULB, Professor Sasha Newell, dear guests, fellow Igorots, mga kababayan and friends.This evening I am elated to see many of you around thus I can hardly contain myself. As an Igorota, I see around the different and colorful Igorot attires worn by Igorots who did not only travel from the Cordillera villages to the cities nor from The Philippines to the European countries but all the way down here in the city ofBrussels. So I can not say more but to acknowledge and thank you all for your presence. It is amazing to see this big University hall full of people. And for this, Iam very pleased to welcome you all.

I can now say to everybody, that truly, this evening will be an evening to remember with the Igorot live dances and sounds of gongs plus other attractions that will transport us to the Cordillera land or shall we say the Cordillera homeland is here
with us. So dear guests of honor, friends and fellow kababayans, I warmly welcome you all and please feel comfortable for the whole evening will be filled with sights and sounds of the Cordillera region.
